Does anybody use individual outs on synths?

Or if you want to save a couple of 100, go for the 24R…or the 16R.
Regarding individual outs I rarely use it, even on drum machines. The processing features in the box is so much better than what I would care to pay for outboard gear.
For me, it sounds good enough to make the track, then when you want to record it, just do a couple of takes for the separate drum sounds and process it further.

As for the networking, there is the choice of either spending a lot on Dante, or a lot on AVB switches (and it looks to be a bit like the Betamax of audio networking), or just forget about the whole thing, which seems the most prudent solution.
