Hi Tony,
I've played with the file in WaveLab, and it's next to impossible
to mention bits that I do or do not like.
What I can say, though, is, that I like most of the things that
are not too chaotic, where you can hear the individual
instruments, and, as you mention, where there is some sort of
flow. Also parts that seem more or less "melodic" are cool.
Furthermore, I think it would be good if there would be some sort
of build-up. Now there's a lot of build-ups and break-dwons,
which is wonderful too, but, you know, something where in the end
you go like, wow - heavy! ;-)
Since I was playing with my headphones on in WaveLab, I felt I
could do some enhancing. So I:
* added low (especially good on the stick),
* added some air,
* broadened the stereo field,
* added a very small tad of reverb (big hall) for "glue" purposes,
* added a little bit of compression and limiting, also for "glue
purposes"
I didn't do any "loudness wars" stuff, so the dynamics are kept.
I will send a download link to your e-mail address. Just let me
know if you like the result.
Cheers,
