waou 10years this is nice ..
Is it already Xmas in Andrew' space-time dimension ? :P
I have a friend who has Focusrite Saffire 24 DSP or maybe without the DSP .
it works well on macbook when we used just few inputs only but it had some
issues when we tried to record ( almost 2 years ago from now) all the
8 inputs all together ( problem on the two inputs with phantom power
used).
Maybe the firmware is updated now days, i don t know ... or maybe the
issue was because his Harddisk was too slow ??...
Otherwise my advice with no regret would be RME !!!!
as you could read everywhere RME element are better than Focusrite
ones ...
