I'm starting to realise that I'm never going to use my PEK; it's been a MIDI controller for as long
as I have owned it..
So...
I'm no pianist but, I have recently realised that I come up with melodies very quickly on our
piano (living room) yet in the studio, it takes ages due too having too many choices/too many
mono keyboards etc.
Piano sounds will always be very non-punkdisco but, because of the above I now have a lovely
NI piano patch in my startup Live project. Such a simple idea and I can't believe how long it has
taken me to come up with this idea..
Enter the hottest keyboard on the planet:

I will only go for the 73 reverse key version and luckily they were limited edition and out of production so probably
will never find one. But, my logic is that I need a master controller and I compose quickly on pianos. I am
very aware that I have always found aesthetics very important in the studio and they don't come better looking
than this piece of sex.
My main concern is that it will be awful to play synth on it? Is it a stupid choice for a synth player?
