"Alright, at this point you’ve learned how to build a Monotron in 
Javascript. However, if you’ve used a real Monotron, you may be a bit 
disappointed with the way this one sounds. The reason is because the 
real Monotron uses an MS-20 analog filter. This filter has a signature 
resonance that just isn’t there when using the Web Audio API’s 
BiquadFilter. However, all is not lost. The analog filter can be 
emulated with a custom ScriptProcessorNode, and I’ll show you how to do 
this in an upcoming post."

Good for them... be interesting to see how it sounds!
