I totally agree. What's way cool, is that the ascendency of Apple (armed with 
all its multitouch patents), will *really* shake up the industry, and any 
equally good hardware+software platform will find a huge tidal force of 
frustration on its side, from content creators, some consumers, and all shades 
of the open source movement.

However, I'm not thinking of Android on steroids here. I mean, different.
