It's not the limiter settings. I think 
your levels on the individual channels 
are too high. Lower them.
If you just remove the limiter, you will 
get clipping (ugly).

I think the compressor pumping is rather 
"hip", a bit like certain Daft Punk and 
Madonna songs. OK, it;'s a bit too much, 
probably...

If you use side chain compression on the 
bass and a chord synth only, it might 
still be hip, but less tiresome to the 
ears :-)
