Hello everyone,

Joost just informed me about Andy … 

I am sad and kind of speechless about the news to be sincere.

I had the chance to be able to meet him once around 2007/2008, at this time I could finally tell him in the real world how I see/ feel about Andy Tarpinian’ music which was so good (imo) … 

As Gert, talking to him face to face after exchanging music compositions and all types of emails about our passion for music was really an experience of wisdom. 

I did not know him personally as much as some of you guys but he was in my opinion a very good soul / man, really respectful and kind.

His music was and will remain as something special to me, reflecting his soul I guess, a kind of magic, his stuff could really translate directlyto my mind.. It s not my emotion talking now but I guess he was a master of his kind, making questioning  yourself :    “ How an artist can paint with sounds and make you dream while listening music ?”.  Andy was good like that (and I told him with respect!)

For a recall (Im not 100% sure tho) during couple of RPM challenges, us barians,  we were participating with only 1 song each per year while Andy was making album(s) ..and those were always a blast of work and production (imo)  ...

I am felling that It's a shame that he was living in US so far from us (Europeans) and not closer to The Netherlands so we could be able to see each other more often I guess and have all types of discussions or Music-Jams about everything and nothing.

Please keep in mind this event reminds me that he was/is not the only one in Music-bar to have such talent, even if we are all different  ;)

But still, Andy'music was always to my taste a Level up of Inspirations for Quality, Style and Work … his compostions and phrasings were amazing (imo), the quality of his productions were just beautiful … (You know when it fells easy to do the trick when actually it is not …)

I hope his young child is as sensitive and talented as him and therefore will be able to grow up next to his dad with all these damn good songs that Andy produced for all those years.. 

So today, it is a sad day for me for sure cause I am really convinced …  the world really lost a great artist recently (a real one)…

But who knows there is maybe a Music-Bar' paradise up there and we ll meet again ?.?

While waiting … Please take care of yourself  Barian’friends.

And make music in / for your dimension(s) ;-P
