Hi Tony, I am very sorry to read that and it is a deal breaker for me :(

From what I saw on youtube the Wavestate looked very sexy at the first place, I was very excited, even planned to preorder it.
But I preferred to wait and see demo tutorials online, after all I think the screen is too small which brings to many submenus … I also don t really like how the SHIFT key is used. Called me paranoid but I m afraid that the “Value” knob will get to much abuses and will simply die just after the warranty time. :S
Even if it is not really needed and if I am not wrong; the possibility to add your own sample(s) is unavailable now (maybe in the future ?) …
Physically: It is all digital and all plastic (except the front panel) for a price of 800 Euro. :(

Now I am definitely sure you ll have an awesome time and fun with this machine,
I would use the Random key a lot and change some values here and there then save the setting if I like what I m hearing, but starting from scratch an idea on this UI,
I mean a complex idea no way ...

:)
