Synth repair info requested

Here in Vienna we have a synth repair guy who will take any of these kinds of synths, and fix them - officially - with manufacturer documentation, etc.  He's the one guy that services Austria, for all of the vendors ..

More than likely there is someone like that in the Netherlands too - a general service guy that folks like Access, Waldorf, etc. use for customer support.

DAC chips do go bad, but so do the output stage capacitors on each channel.

In any case, he's going to open it up, look for either a) a blown DAC chip, or b) a busted capacitor on the output stage, and replace either.  The DAC would be a hassle, but a pro with the vendor service manual can do it in 20 minutes.  The cap, 2 minutes.
