I have an Edirol UM880, which is the best MIDI interface I ever owned, and I’ve had a few.  I had MOTU MIDI Timepiece AV for many years which worked well, but fell off the support wagon, alas.  The UM880 is awesome.  (Full Linux support.)

Yeah, the MTP-AV was also pretty darned nice, I have to admit, but the firmware binary-blob situation is such that it sort of fell off the support wagon, alas.  Still got it though.
