Hey Mikael

I have two Edirol UM550 which I love because of the merging options.

Recently I got a a Motu Express 128:

It is like the XT but without the merge.  Sure, I would love the Merge stuff but the non-XT is significantly cheaper and it does not need power (USB powered).

To be honest, I have not rigged the Motu up yet but I had a very old Motu interface and it was rock solid..
