Minilogue GAS

Yea the envelope can click with short attack and release times, especially if you have the cutoff low. But it didn't really bother me because I am somewhat used to it on other real analog synths like the sub 37 and in eurorack especially. In modular getting rid of clicks is a daily routine which is why I found people crying about it funny.

Now it's usually solved with tweaking the A and R. But the other day I was recording (playing) my minilogue through my Zvex lofi junky, (great combo!) and it seems it was amplifying the clicks to an unpleasant level - which was a tad annoying. So wanted to mention that, have to do some more experimentation. But otherwise they are usually not a problem.

Watch all of Mark Doty's Automatic Gainsay minilogue videos on YouTube, really the next best thing to playing one. He also mentions the clicking is not a big deal. I think it's minor fault in an otherwise must buy instrument.

Sound wise it's beautiful and fits nice with other things, but don't expect it to compete with say a Moog in the smack you in the face dept. Actually though I find it hard to fit the Moog in with other things sometimes because it's so powerful.
