Interesting news on the switching supply. I will check out the TipTop
audio and hope to find a schematic of it somewhere.
Aha, I see, space is a factor. Well, not for me now that I finished my
studio of 67m2 ;-)

Anyway, did you ever compare the "sound" of different brands? Did you
take that into account also?
I understand your view on DIY. For me (at that time) it was the only way
to ever get a modular synth. Today I would maybe do it differently.
