I sat down with one at a friends and I was really underwhelmed, especially given the price tag. It just really left me flat. That being said, I really haven’t liked the sound of any of the new Dave Smith stuff so maybe it’s just me.

I talked to a few people who have one, and both said it was "the drum machine they always dreamed of". I also played with it a bit at knobcon and came away impressed.

It has some UI issues from what I gather, but you get used to them. DSI has also been pretty good about implementing new features based on user requests.

Now that they are available second hand, I've thought about giving one a go....someday. The fact is I really just don't need a drum machine.

Anyone play with one? I sort of wrote it off as being over priced, but on taking a closer look, it looks cool as shit, and sounds pretty amazing.
