Along similar lines .. I got a Volume (foot) controller for our gig last week, and it has the ability to attenuate a signal as well .. so I pass my Virus through it, and can now preview my sounds in headphones, then when satisfied fade in to the main mix .. a very satisfying solution after years of "fuck sorry guys, wrong patch.." ; -- Jay Vaughan
