Fun games to play?

Dude, I've got a GTX 580. I don't do pixels. :)

The resource management/simulation type of game isn't really my thing. 
There's the Sims, and an amazing amount of railway simulation expansion 
packs at extortionate rates. I've never seen the point in those, though, 
because it's dead boring.
