Ermm.. no.  One of the reasons the Pi is what it is, is because the chipset is already being used in the millions for consumer products just like the WDTV, and so on.  Crack open the lid, you'll see why the Pi is so cheap: because consumer electronic parts *are* that cheap in the first place.
