This looks cool.
And it's DIY so you got one step ahead to the competition ;-)

I would keep the options for adding ROM's, like the miniwave. I think it 
was Stooge Larry who designed an expansion board for it. Mine has 10 
ROM's VC selectable. Cool toy!

But not entirely what I'm looking for now ;-)
