Cycling in the UK - what you should consider before you start

I cannot tell you how boring this point becomes in the UK - it is literally
mentioned every two days on either TV or a radio phone in. This argument is
like a paedophile arguing that there are plenty of slutty 14 year old girls
out there..  ITS NOT THE POINT AND I DON'T CARE!!

The danger is the UK is the significant amount of hostility towards
cyclists.

The amount of danger and unrest caused by an insignificant number of
anti-social cyclist is so small, it would never get into the news or chat
shows if it was not for the inherent hatred towards cyclists.  When was the
last time we heard a radio phone-in regarding the issue of 13 year old girls
in short skirts and how they are driving 50 year old men to rape 8 year
olds?  Talk about diluting an argument..!

I know my analogy is not a very good one.  I also know that you are not
being anti-cyclist, Tony.  :)

..I'm off to work on restoring a 30 year old bike seat.  That will calm me
down a little..  :)
