getting armed

Well I'm using the angsrtom linux as it supports the beaglebone.
got the image
created boot partition
created root partition
extracted image to the root partition
copied files to the boot partition (MLO, uImage and u-boot.img)
wont boot :(

Linux is still a mystery to me, but it's early days.....
