Looks like they did.

But wasn't Waldorf the first with its MicroWave? And didn't Korg 
do the same with the MicroKorg? And what about the Dave Smith 
Evolver? :-)

I guess it's kind of a "cheap" way to make a synth with realtime 
editing possibilities without going for a HUGE, expensive machine 
with 100 knobs, like the Andromeda.
