The arguments for musicians to be pragmatic are nearly always right. The
arguments for engineers to be pragmatic, also.
And guess what, if you don't tick either of those boxes.
The soul in Moog's products are clearly the result of a lifelong love of music.
I don't mean this in any trivial sense. He lived for music/sound, and it was his
great delight to make something that musicians loved to make music with.
And that cannot be emulated, you're right. But if you have a passion, some soul
of your own may creep into what you do, how you live, and your appreciation of
everything will flourish.
