There is a point though, where it becomes less productive to worry about it than to just get on with making good music with the toy in front of you.  Moog gear is lovely, there is a soul of synthesis in all their products, rightly so considering their heritage as an organization .. and I wonder if that soul can be emulated, ever.  I dunno.
