Hi Paul, it's a toss up for me as well. I would have to sell some gear to afford the Tempest. It sounds like you have some very nice sources for drums in your kit and IMHO - I don't see any reason for you to sell any of it for the Tempest (unless you don't use it). I don't have any drum machines any more so I've been on the hunt for something different form all the machines I've had in the past i.e. 808, 909, 606, MPC3000, etc…
I also have concerns about the DSI sound but the controls and functionality is so cool :) I still haven't had a chance to check one out but hope to later this week.
