My suggestion for you: Build a DIY solution with a Beagleboard (or
similar) ..

As far as the audio hardware goes, just get a board with onboard audio
working first, and if you don't like the audio, switch to USB-based
audio if you need to.

Beagleboard + 1Tb USB hard drive + USB-Audio adapter + nice box ==
streaming goodness!

The other option, which I also have: just get an Apple wireless music
adapter for $70 and screw it .. ;)
