I'd be personnaly concerned to know some cunt has build a nuclear power station near San Andreas… ;) Now in france we don't have big faults but there's a few places that can shake seriously. Bingo! We built nuclear plants or installations over them… (Cadarache, Fesenheim…) We had last year 7 similar plants stopped as the one with the issue Blaye near Bordeaux, was aching for fresh water after a flood blocked the fresh water in of the plant.
BTW the Blaye flood containment wall is a mess… http://tchernoblaye.free.fr/
On Fukushima-Daiichi, just found out that the confinements are able to stand force 10 earthquakes, but outside confinements installations only force 7. Did they ever learned a system is as tough as its weakest component or not? Add this to the underscaled tsunami wall (and sea level plant…) http://www.20minutes.fr/article/689444/monde-japon-plus-seisme-tsunami-endommage-centrale-fukushima
On the tech level, sony lost a factory in Sendai, and Panasonic has one stopped near Fukushima. Nintendo DS are safe as the plants are not in Japan, and Nissan will test the cars produced for radioactivity…
And all electronic manufacturing plants are to be entirely recalibrated so delays to come.

Libya already started to push Fukushima out… And Libya is a way lower danger.

Here it's more nuclear is safe, we cannot stop it, it's the future etc etc. Plus french politicians act as if the french population agreed with the nuclear choice in the 70s, we never did, nobody asked our opinion (as usual). But as HADOPI powers have extended (enforce counterfeiting law now, it's jail! decree 2 days ago), now that secret services can have your logins/passwords of any service hosted in France without a judge in sight (LCEN decree last week), now that the interior minister can filter any site under pedocriminality suspicion with the list not public and no judge (LOPPSI2 just published)…
I think I'm going to heavily use VPN, and not-french mail. :( (as if I had the money for this :(
