Hi Andrew
> if you found one for $250US sure, pick it up
Last night I won a fully loaded one on eBay for £180 (290usd) so ill know in
a few days. I experiences with digital gear is so far not good, always
leaving me feeling uninspired after a week or two. Will have to see how the
309 goes..

Yeah, I love my 999 (running the 888 os). It takes minutes to get the
perfect kick and snare for any track, and all the other instruments are just
so accidental - you can always find a little groove in some abused 8bit
sample once you start taking them to extremes..
Im also temped by the Tempest. Im a little concerned it will not growl and
hiss like the Jomox stuff does, a bit like how my PEK is not as alive as my
SunSyn.
Thanks to all for the Quasimidi comments - obviously I will be letting you
know how moist it gets me and Leah once we have played a little..
