Paul Morley ranks alongside Julian Assange for being a necessary irritant. The 
writing is brilliant and annoying - because you know it's pretentious, and yet 
at the same time, the shadow world of his thoughts sheds brief brilliant light. 
He's forgivable because for all his crazed indulgent idealism, he says what he 
truly believes, and if more of us were this honest, the world would be the 
better place it is so swiftly becoming.
