Definitely one of the most nerve wracking issues.   Unfortunately, not all
the manufacturers out there are good about making power requirements
available.  Generally you can estimate.  There is also a thread on muffs
that has a compilation of info that is known.  Most manufacturers will get
back to you if you email them.
