In my opinion, you're not doing anything against the rules.  I appreciate the regular reminders, and have tuned into your show a number of times as a result.  It has come to my attention, however, that you do seem to be auto-posting these to the list, and have become rather quiet as an individual - so that gives the impression you're just spamming the list.

For my part, I put all music-bar message into their own folder.  There are a lot of Galactic Travels notifications in that folder, but when I'm not interested, I just skip over the message.  It doesn't bother me, personally, in the slightest - but I can certainly see how for some folks, who perhaps don't manage the music-bar like a list, and instead manually delete each message as they are read, can have difficulties with it.

The solution is, I think, for those of us who don't want these messages, ever, to simply make a mail rule and delete them.  Also Bill, tell us more about whats going on with your music scene - make it a bit more personal, somehow.
