That may well be, but would those new interfaces allow us to make better 
music? How is 'better' defined in the first place?

I get that with most new and supposedly exciting interfaces, that the 
demos all suck. Which makes you wonder...

It's the laptop link that irks me a bit. It makes the instrument more 
versatile in terms of sound generation, but on the other hand, it 
restricts you as well.

Gert does wonderful things with the Stick. But as said, it's not for me.
