I was thinking about mentioning his Player Piano Studies - and didn't post it ... didn't believe that somebody would know this great work.
How could I dare?!
Nancarrow was definitely pushing the limits of his instruments of choice when he wrote his pieces.
IMHO Metheny just started to go that route ...
