python to xml export? what was the tool again?

A few months back M@ had asked for some suggestions on what to use to
parse some XML documents with. I need something similar for work, and
dont want to do it the way we did it before (the job is significantly
bigger).

What I basically need is away to export data into a nice XML schema
from a python dictionary.  Ive done some googling on the topic, and I
cant find anything, so maybe a clean solution doesnt exist?
