Will think about this a bit more. In the meantime, Legato is a good one.  It
basically says "don't start the clip from the beginning but rather, start at
the currently playing position.

Pos	1	2	3	4
ClipA	1	2		4	
ClipB			3

So, with 2 I bar clips, quantise set to 1/16, you can play the 3 beat from
Clip3 by triggering it then immediately triggering A again.

I got this from a recent Future Music issue.  It good for jamming and coming
up with new variations.
