Tony,

  I have an acer Aspire one, well two, my wife has the "linux" one and  
I have the "windows" one as I needed it for my compiler.
  Battery life is "ok" without wireless 3 hours or so, screen is a tad  
low resolution, but it's ok, it does what it says on the tin, more  
than enough for web/email.
