I have been working on a long term project where we are using www.basecamphq.com
Basicly everyone involved in the project is spread out all over the
place so we have a virtual office of sorts. I don't know what you
would call cheap but the basic package is like $24/month. It seems to
work pretty well, though I just really use it to pull down new files
and the like. It's the producers on the project that are really using
it for the project management aspects.
