Try installing the latest version of Flash Player, then. At work, I use 
Chrome to play the videos from the BBC News website, which otherwise 
hang my Firefox (both 2 and 3) at work. At home, it doesn't hang my 
Firefox, but on the other hand, it almost never plays the video.

Now that operating systems are finally becoming cleaner, now our 
browsers are turning into a pile of dung...
