Novation Nocturn

Hey cats.

 

Just read a recent SoS review of the Novation Nocturn:

Sounds impressive. Anyone been using this or the Remote Zero SL?

Should I be considering buying yet another MIDI controller that gets used
for 1 week before being forgotten about forever?  This would be my 4th or
5th unused MIDI controller (I am actually using my Doepfer Drehbank now).

 

I really don't mind mixing with a mouse as it always seem considerably
faster and more accurate than using a controller.  Same goes for VSTs..

 

Maybe the simplicity of the Nocturn, in particular the clever central speed
dial, will just allow you to compliment your mouse rather than trying (and
failing) to replace it, the approach that most other controllers seem to
take (including the Remote Zero SL ?)

 

Anyone?
