Alternatively you can also go in your daw and do level curve on the
offending ssss. It's a different kind of work but then you can do custom for
every occurence.

Hi!
We forgot the popshield this weekend so when we listened to the last
track in the car, we found out there was some sharp s's cutting through.
Which is the best way to get rid of that? EQ or a dedicated deesser?
If I use a deesser, should I use it before or after the compressor?
