Strange. They are supposed to last as long or longer than the old 
calliper things. Maybe you have slightly wonky rotors or sharp edges on 
them? Too soft brake pad grade/material?
These new ones are just starting to work properly after a week, they are 
crap at first, but now they can easily lock the wheels. I don't brake 
unless I really need to, hence the long life maybe...
