well I got a macbook:
2.2GHz intel Core 2 Duo.
with 4 gigs of memory


your motu looks cool the price is a bit expensive but still in my  
budget  ( not above 600euro)...
The only thing missing for me is an Adat in \ out  ...

but i  will check out if i really need it for what I want to do with  
the MAC...
