I can't mention any track or album 
names, but most of the Daft Punk stuff 
features this pumping. When I heard it 
for the first time, at leas some 7 years 
ago, I thought it sounded terrible, but 
I got used to it, and a lot ofother 
bands/producers started using it.
As far as I understand it's done by 
using side-chain compression on (mostly) 
the bass, where the sound of the kick is 
used as input for the compressor.
Ableton live has a very nice side-chain 
compressor, btw. There's also some 
Youtube tutorials on it. Very 
interesting :-)
