thank you paul - indeed it has been a wonderful walk, and we have  
returned with new batteries for our ipods (you wouldn't believe how  
important this is to me right now), some more RAM for a few of my  
systems, and a sweet, lovely, sleeping child, whose company in the  
last few hours has been blissful.  now its time for a cuddle and a nap.
