RPM Contribution: Franz Anton - Sleepless

Hi all,

Just finished my contribution for the
RPM Challenge. It's sort of a tribute to
Vladislav Delay's music. As for my new
artist name: I thought it sort of
funny to take the name the Thai
restaurant in Zermatt gave me last
December ;-)

*STYLE*
Well, it's sort of a mix between
Clicks&Cuts,
minimal techno, ambient, experimental.
I would call it Psychedelic Minimal Techno.
I know this style isn't everyone's cup
of tea, but I'm a sucker for those
psychedelic atmospheres, and it sure was
fun to do it ;-)

*COMPOSITION*
I used a couple of homemade arpeggio
loops from my MC-505, a homemade
Machinedrum loop, plus some bass sounds
from the ImpOscar and another soft synth,
that Iforgot.
I put everything in Ableton Live and
extensively used the effects, mainly
slicing, filters, delays and beat repeat.

*MASTERING*
I used Waves LinMB 5 band compression
plus an L3 limiter for mastering.
