its really funny because i also had that CD and *always* cheesed  
myself out when i listened to it instead of the originals - which i  
also had, of course - and i often wondered to myself 'why the hell do  
i listen to this cd anyway?'

and now i know the answer.  so i would know what a synth newbie might  
feel about it.  ;)
