i've been hacking around with puredata at our jam sessions lately  
(runs just fine on the EEEPC) and i came across this recently:

its a drum machine for generating house beats .. maybe you guys might  
be interested in it.  we're having a great time moving as much audio  
software into the EEEPC as possible, and toys like tribalhaus are  
giving us great pleasure!  :)
