The key to live is realizing that the clips window and the arrangement
window are totally unrelated. the clip window is a place to keep
parts of the song and try out different permutations and combinations.
the arrange window is where you layout your ideas linearly.
clip view = lateral thought
arrange view = linear thought.
It took me a while to get that. now that I do, I really love live and
its workflow. Live 7 finally brought ive to the point where I have,
pretty much, ditched cubase.
