Exactly the reason why I am so happy about Timemachine. this doesn't  
happen (or isn't supposed to) because Timemachine nags you for backups  
after a week.

Also the main reason why I wouldn't want to rely on manual backups  
with disk utility. It works nicely, but a solid backup strategy  
doesn't rely on "manual"...
