Albeit more expensive, but I'm telling you, that extra 8"s makes a HUGE difference.  I used to run out of real estate all the time when using my DAW, that's now fixed :-)

I actually went and looked at the Dells. I was unimpressed.

I ended up with this and feel it was well worth the extra:
